Suchitra Krishnamoorthi : Actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi has opened up about her married life in a recent interview. Suchitra has said many things about marrying a person of mother's age.

 Bollywood actors are known for their uncompromising lifestyle. After working together, these actors fall in love with each other. Not only this, but knowing further, they get involved in marriage. Something similar happened with singer and actress Suchitra Krishnamurthy and director Shekhar Kapur. There is a gap of almost 30 years between Suchitra Krishnamurtin and Shekhar. His marriage lasted for 12 years. Suchitra and Shekhar got wedded in 1999 and divided in 2007. Both of them came into the limelight in 2020 due to a dispute over property. Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Suchitra has clearly told some things about her and Shekhar's married life.

 

Suchitra met Shekhar at the age of 19. At the age of 22, she married Shekhar, who was 30 years older. Sutricha said, "My husband didn't want me to act. Shekhar was very clear that I didn't want to act. I was naïve. So I listened to him thinking it's not a big deal. Because I come from a non-filmy family. .When I was in school and college I started getting offers for films.While in college I also got offers to say yes sometimes no.I did a Malayalam film when I was in college.My parents were very strict.I should act. They didn't think so at all. However I fibbed to them and left to Kochi to shoot the film. After that, the films I did became superhits."
